I've died my hair since I was 13 or 14 and now im 17 my hair always used to look fried and dried out...Now I still frost my hair blond and it doesn't fry..Is it now frying maybe because the conditioner im using? Because now its silky and not dry at all. Or could it be that my hair puts up with frosting better????

Hair products today have come a long way. We now have conditioning peroxides in a variety of strengths as well as conditioning colors and bleaches that are not as damaging to the hair. Keep in mind that hair gets 'stronger' as we age, then gets 'weaker' when we go through a major hormonal change such as menopause.

It could also be that the hairdresser to whom you are now seeking services may be more educated than the previous ones you used and he/she is taking better care of your hair during the service. Most times when hair gets "fried", it is because too strong a mixture was used and/or the mixture was left on the hair for too long a processing period.
