I have these itchy, red mosquito like bumps on my rear-end. I think they might be zits or a rash, but some itch like you wouldn't believe and some just hurt when I sit down. I have had these for a few weeks, and nothing in my diet has really changed. I have been getting more sleep though, which I thought was good for my body. Back to the bumps, after a few days the older ones became rounded and popped with blood and green goo (pus?) I think it might have something in common with something that happened to my ear 3 weeks back, same red bump, same green goo, same pain.

While time allowed for the ear thing to go away, this stuff on my rear seems persistent, with everyone that goes away a few more seem to pop up. This is getting really aggrevating and embarassing for me to squirm when I sit down.

I have been keeping the area dry and clean, and bandaging it at night.

Please leave any tips or suggestions to ease my rear-end pain.

Thanks.

This thing is getting worse and it's spreading, help would be REALLY appreciated, the bumps are REALLY itchy and a few have swollen and are filled with blood and puss. They hurt and are quite unsightly. PLEASE HELP!

You need to go to the doctors immediately. This sounds like some HORRIBLE disease if not cancer itself !

Looks like you have what I have: Hydradinitis Supporativa. It's a sucky affliction for which there is no cure. It definitely won't kill you, but it will kill your social and sex life if you let it. See a doctor, inquire about an Accutane treatment, which has been known to work, albeit rarely. Also, excess weight contributes to the symptons, so if you're overweight, start dieting. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Here are some images for the diagnosis 'Hidradenitis Suppurativa' , http://www.dermis.net/doia/diagnose.asp?zugr=d&lang=e&diagnr=705812&topic=t

Hope this helps some.

Zim, keep in mind that those pics are of a very severe case. Mine looks nothing like that (but probably will in time, unfortunately).

It could be boils. Don't pop them cause they will cause infection and it will spread. Go to the derm and they can take care of it for you.

It could be scabies if it's spreading, too. In fact, a friend of mine just got over scabies (she's still getting over it, actually). Anyways, go to a doctor and get it checked on.
