I have been using Protopic for the last 2 months and I asked my derm. about Elidel the other day when I went to see him. He told me that Protopic and Elidel are the same, only exception is that Elidel is a cream and less greasy.Protopic works okay, still have flare-ups.If you try it, ask for the higher strength which is 1% rather than the .03%.

My daughter was prescribed this cream yesterday by her dermatoligist for seb dermatitis. He said it may help her with the rash and peeling in addition to the face wash (Ovace) that he has her using and the occasional cortisone.
