hey
i have these veins that some people call "spider veins" on my hips. They start about where my boxer line is and go down my leg for a bit. I dont know what they are from and would like to get rid of them.
they are only on the side of my body, on my hips.
any help would be greatly appreciated
Also i am a very white person. I have no tan except on my forearms. What is the best way to develop a tan. I live in australia so there is alot of sun, whenever i got sunbaking for an hour i get really sunburnt and the skin peels off and i am left with no tan. Any help would be appreciated and thank you for your time

Spider veins are a very common problem, and can sucessfully be removed by sclerotherapy. The veins are injected with a solution causing them to colapse and disappear. I had this done last summer and am very happy with the results. You might do a web search to find a doctor in your area that performs this procedure. Many plastic surgeons or dermatologists do this. Laser is another option to remove them, though it can be very costly. My doctor didn't recommend this since the veins tend to reappear with this method. Also, just so you know, spider veins are generally a hereditary condition. Not a whole lot you can do to prevent them. Good luck!

Carrie-
How much did it cost for you to get sclerotherapy done? Did it hurt? and how long did it take for you to see results?

I had spider veins on my legs for a long time, and was considering sclerotherapy but decided to look into less painful options first. I tried a number of products, but ended up using an inside/outside regimen from Nu Visage. It wasn't the cheapest product available, but it's what worked for me, and it was certainly cheaper and safer than surgery. I don't know if they sell in Australia, but I ordered directly through them. Hope that helps

Psopc- where did you order this product? And how much was it? How long did it take for you to see results? And if you wouldn't mind...what is your skin type/color. Thanks

There are various suspected causes but it is mostly genetic (if your mother had them, chances are very good that you will have them too, sooner or later).

psopc-
I would like to know which regimen was the one you used was it the one with the capsules and cream or only one of them. Also, are you completely satisfied with the results and how long did it take for you to see results? Thanks!
