My skin is dry on the sides of my nose, in between my brows and right around my cheek bones, and I have tried different mositurizers, but none have seemed to work. Any suggestions?

Have you tried peel off mask to remove dead skin from those areas? Sometimes dry skin can build up.

I use Neutrogina Facial Lotion. Wet hand and then put a little lotion on and spread good.

If your face is really dry then try using Cetaphil Cream twice day.

I remember my mother had dry skin too...I just recently started useing Cetaphil Lotion on my face and after 4 weeks now have notice a hugh difference! I too had very dry skin, actually I can sit in the mirror and pull the skin off with tweezers...I mean I have extremly DRY facial skin..Not now! Thank god to a employee of ours aand her face always looked so fresh so one day I asked her about it and she too said her skin was very dry..I said No way...and I asked her what she used and she said Cetapil creame lotion..either one works great!
Hope this helps..

P.S. I have had some of the best creams out there, I was ordering everthing a derm would tell me too..Nothing worked the way Cetaphil does...Also I take regular scotch tape and put it on different sections of me face then pull it off, it works wonders!

Hi Meg. Sounds like you many have seborrheic dermatitis . Take a look at this thread from a couple days ago. It explains what it is and how to get rid of it.

Sounds like seb derm to me . My teenage daughter's skin started doing the same thing and we assumed it was dry skin. Changed makeup, used creams, etc. Finally went to the dermatologist and he diagnosed the dermatitis. She uses a special face wash and cream now. It can be treated.
