Please help me!
Last night, i was trying to tame a smallish pimple on my face. After washing my face, I placed a baggie with an ice cube on the pimple and surrounding area for approx. 3 mins. I then went to bed. I woke up at around 3am, looked in the mirror, and noticed that the area where I had placed the ice was RED and swollen. The pimple, mind you, was almost non-existent. But ack!! I am now left with a 2inch by 2 inch area on my face that is red and raised!!
After freaking out, I took an antihistimane and applied some 1% hydrocortisone cream on the area. It seems to have calmed down *somewhat*, but not much. My skin has been PERFECT up until this occurance..talk about Murphy's Law!
Now, my dilemma is that I have a wedding to attend this evening! I dont' know what to do. I am going for a "makeover" at 3pm (it's 11am now), so have some time to remedy the situation a bit more....
...but what should I do? Is there anywhere to alleviate the red/raised area? I'm afraid to reapply ice to it, as that is what seemed to make it red in the first place. I can't take another antihistimane, as I am driving down to the wedding and it will make me groggy.
Please please please help me!!!
