I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has tried Vitamin C creams on the face. I've caught some vibes that there may be good scientific evidence that these creams can reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and I like the idea of putting on a vitamin rather than a drug like Retin-A.

I don't know how it would work. Vitamin C is an anti-oxidant. All it really does is stop vitamin E from oxidizing in the body. It's also been known to mutate cells which makes it act like a carcinogen. I have heard of people using Vitamin K cream though, but I have never actually heard about any results.

I believe the theory is partially due to the antioxidant effects on free-radicals, but apparently Vit C is also essential for the synthesis of collagen and may increase such synthesis.
