Well I am 21 and I started loosing LOTS of hair since I was 18. I tryed Rogain and a few other products I cant remember right now. They didnt help!

So finnaly when ppl started commenting im getting bald, I went to a durmatologist for Propicia.

I started taking it in June and I see nice results. My hair isent falling out as much and some ppl said its getting thicker!
$59 Dollars a month is a lot of money, but If it keeps hair on my head, i dont mind paying for it.

I have been taking it for a year or so and it does magic! Not only it restores my hair, it helps me regrow some of the hair that have been lost.

Some of the side effects that I am experiencing is the diminished sex drive and minor heartburn. I don't know for sure if they have anything to do with taking propecia though.

has anyone heard or know if you can take 1/2 mg of propecia and get the same results on helping with hairloss? this would help save some $.

Buy proscar, each pill is 5mg of finasteride and then cut it into fours. That will give you 1.25 mg of finasteride just about the same as 1mg of propecia. Proscar will greatly reduce your cost and it is the same exact drug.

i also bough fincar (finasteride tablets) or generic propecia, it is the same drug and a lot cheaper. i just started so i have to wait and see what thwe results will be.

Have you noticed any side effects? How's the hair regrowth coming along? My bf said that he read somewhere that propecia and related drugs mess w/a guy's hormones and have the potential for causing men to grow breasts (a la gynecomastia). Anyone out there have this problem on Fincar, Propecia, or other related drugs?

Tried it once and noticed less intense erections and delayed ejaculation.
