Can anyone give me any info on foundation for dry, sensitive skin?
I'm using cover girl hydrating foundation right now over my inflamed, dry skin. I haven't worn any last 2 days and skin doesn't seem as broken out. Can't use any with sunscreen in it either.
Thanks.

Almay or Neutrogena make great products for dry skin. They are also hypoallergenic.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried both of these but they are not greasy enough. I can't use anything that's oil free or has sunblock in it and of course it has to be hypoallergenic.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Before applying your foundation, apply a good MOISTURIZER first!! Find one that's good for your skin, and then apply your foundation.
Your skin obviously needs the added moisture.

It's odd that the cover girl foundation you were using did that to you, because isn't that made specifically for your type of skin? Anyways... if your skin is inflamed, it sounds like your allergic to something in the foundation. I have veeeeeery dry sensitive skin and I've used the same thing as you before. To keep my skin from drying out really bad, I do not wash the make off or I wipe at my face a little with a dry tissue. If I wash my face with water or anything it's a horrible result. OH! Have you tryed the Proactive Make up? The proactive products are GREAT! I just recently started trying them out. Let us know how everything turns out! :-)
