Wish I knew the answer. Mine doesn't grow either! I got it cut when I was 10 and it never grew back again, stayed short. Those of us with thin, weak hair have that problem. I have worn extensions for over ten years. Why do you hate them? I have the fusion bonded ones and I love them. I just get them redone every three months and they look great.

I started using 2% nizoral Shampoo (prescription) and it made my hair really thick. I don't know if it will help you with length but it's worth a try.

Did you get your extensions done professionally? They shouldn't fall out. What they do is take a small piece of extension hair and bond it with hot glue near the root of a small piece of your own hair. You get like 200 pieces put in and it looks totally natural. It's called bonding or fusion. Prices vary everywhere, but I pay $100 for a 1/4 pound of hair (I use the 18 inch length) and $300 to get it put in. Then my salon charges $30 per hour to take it out every three months right before I have new hair put in again. (Takes 2 1/2 hours) Make sure you get good quality hair, remi hair or BOHYME is the best. And go to someone who knows what they're doing so it doesn't fall out. Some shedding is normal, though. Just the strands of hair that didn't make it into the bond, the actual bonds shouldn't come loose.
