Hi, does anyone out there know what can be taken to prevent post-op hair loss? I've read that hair can start falling 6 months later after surgery. I am 3 months post-op. My hair is already thin so I am concerned about this. Has anyone else been through surgery and lost hair after?

I am experiencing hair loss from antidepressant medication and have always been sensitive to thinning hair, pregnancy, surgery, etc... I haven't found a solution recently ) : however many have suggested Nioxin, which I am using. It's not helping me, but many swear by it. They say you should use it "every time you wash your hair and stick with it." Maybe it will help you. Sold at salons or if you have a friend who is a stylist they can get it much cheaper for you through a supply house.
