Hi, I just graduated from skin care school, so now I'm an Esthetician. Have you ever tried waxing? Of course it won't feel that great but it would be easier than having to shave all the time. Also if you get ingrown hairs, try this stuff called TendSkin, I haven't used it myself yet but some of my friends use it and they love it.

If you cannot afford laser treatments, then wax and wax regularly. Your hair will gradually be sparser and softer. Besides you will feel so clean and soft and your mate will love it.

Becareful who you choose to do laser if you ever decide, I know someone who tried to get her chin hair lasered and now she has hyperpigmentation in that area.

As for the waxing, I would have it done proffesionally at least for the first time. The first time is always the worst and then, it would be easier for you to just do the clean up once a month. If you plan on doing a brazilian bikini wax be careful because you can easily bruise.

Any beauty supply store will have waxing supplies.

Hope this helps and Good Luck http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

Nordstrom sells Poetic Wax. It worked well, but takes a long time to melt and it is very expensive. You could probably get the same type of wax in bulk. I think it is called Azulene.

Please do not brazilian wax yourself. Get it done at a *very* reputable salon. If you poetic wax, try doing several (at least 10 sessions) on your underarms. It is not an easy task. And once you put wax on your labia you will VERY hesitant to pull it off (natural human reaction http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/biggrin.gif) and then it will harden and your life will really suck. Get it professionally brazilian wax and get yourself some Tendskin. Sephora sells it.

Hi Messygirl,
I agree with the "don't try Brazilian wax at home". Although I had a fairly good experience with Poetic on my upper thighs, it wasn't the best and I would say to anyone who wants to wax, get it done professionally. It is worth the money.
