you could try putting some hand lotion in your hair that helps. But not too much.

Nowadays there are so many hair pieces that offer the "quick fix". Alot of my friends including myself wear 'em and you cant even tell the differenct. It has a drawstring so you put your hair up in a bun and then attach it using the drawstring and tie it securely--works for me ANYTIME, ANYWHERE and takes just seconds.
But if you dont want pieces, mayb you could spray some light spritz (not hairspray) after you have curled it--but not too much cause it may get the hair real dry. Hope it helps.

If you're making the curls with a curling iron, you should be pretty safe with making frizz-free curls...just use a strong hold mousse of any kind in your hair when it's damp, then when it's dry and you're going to curl, make sure to spray with hairspray afterwards, or use a frizz reducing serum like Frizz Ease or Citre Shine.

First of all try putting a little bit of gel or mousse on clean hair thats damp. If you have ever heard of the wrap snap and go curlers they work pretty good for holding curl. I use them all the time for school. But if worse comes to worse get a curly hair piece like QT says. If you have afterthoughts or claires in florida they usually have that stuff. we used them for cheerleading a couple of years of ago.

I use gel to tame the frizz. It does a pretty good job and doesn't cost a fortune to buy. My hair does that too when it is really hot outside. I carry a small tube with me all the time in the summer.
This web-site lists a few dry hair, natural remedies. Thought they might help.
