My son is 12 years old. We are caucasion. I'm very fair and his father has a nice tan colour. My son is more like his father. My son is a cutie patootie with lots of freckles on his face. Recently I've noticed that he's been getting botchy white patches on his face. It looks as though he's losing the pigment in his skin. Has anyone ever heard of this? What is happening? I told the doctor but he didn't seem too concerned. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/confused.gif

That sounds like vitiligo. Vitiligo is where the skin loses its pigment in patches.Apparently that's what Michael jackson has. Check with your doctor to be sure.
