Hi there, how are you? I'm a 15 yr. old female. I've been using
Drysol for a while because I'm scared I have B.O. Now my underarms
are a lot darker and drier than the rest of me. After doing
some "research" on the Internet, I think it's because I would itch my
underarms a lot because the Drysol would make me itch there. Because
of this I don't wear sleeveless or short-sleeved shirts, and I'm
afraid of raising my arms. It's HORRIBLE!!! What can I do???
Please help!! Also, part of my decision about going to homecoming is
riding on this-I don't want to go with dark underarms!!

Maybe the drysol is too strong for your skin. I'm suprised thet gave you that to use at such a young age. They would'nt let my daughter use it until she's eighteen because they felt it was too strong for her sensetive skin. I would stop using it and call the doctor maybe he could prescribe something soothing that would heal the area as it sounds irrated. Good luck and let us know what happens.
