Hello everyone, I'm new to the board so bare with me.... My husband snores very bad, ok, God awful and keeps me awake night after night and I am at my wits end here. I have heard people talk about these nose strip things that football players wear to help them get more oxygen, do these work for snoring? If they do can someone tell me what they are called so I can get some, I love my husband dearly but if I have to put up with very many more nights of this SOUND, he isn't going to like me anymore, lol. Please, anyone with with any advice I would appriciate some input here. I cannot wear ear plugs to bed as I have 2 asthmatic boys and my daughter is a heart patient, although even if they were healthy, I couldn't sleep knowing if they yelled in the middle of the night I wouldn't be able to hear them...
Thanks in advance, Beabble.

The nose strips did not work for me. I went to an ENT and he took one look in my throat and said tha my tonsils were very large and should be removed. While he was there he removed my adnoids and trimed my uvula(sp? you know, the thing that hangs down in the back of your throat). I did not snore at all after that for about a year and a half. Unfortunately the snoring has returned but not nearly as badly or as frequently.
Good luck and start with a visit to your Dr. or an ENT.
