Is sleep apnea related to a nasel deviated septum?

I am not sure if it is related
but I had a deviated septum fixed and still have sleep apnea. I also had the tribinates (sp) reduced at the same time they fixed my deviated septum.
IMO have those two things fixed help my CPAP work better.
