ever since i was 11 i have had the ability to control my dreams. if im being chased by someone or something i tell myself "i can fly" and so i fly to get away. if i dream someone is attacking me i say "go on then, you cant hurt me cos i know im just dreaming", or if i need to hide from someone i can make myself become invisable. its a great ability to have!!

I can only wake up if something really bad is about to happen, like the central character dying/suffering. I can usually steer dreams away from this possibility in advance as these seem to occur much less frequently. What more could you want than to dream safely, perhaps to wake up feeling rejuvenated?

I have the kind of dreams where i can control literally EVERYTHING. And then I have the *other* kind, where i seem to be awake and paralyzed with some kind of overbearing presence in the room and me insulting it, and telling it to go away and it hurting me, and scaring me. im not even sure if those are dreams... *shiver*.
