My doc didn't expect to find apnea on my sleep study, and other docs are surprised when I tell them I have it. I'm female, almost 22, and in my ideal weight range. I don't snore unless I'm plugged up with a cold, and only quietly then. I always sleep on my stomach or side, which doesn't help the apnea. Also, if it weren't for hypopneas being a problem I wouldn't even be considered to have apnea. I feel so alone. Is anyone else like this? If so, are you sticking w/ CPAP, or are you trying other solutions?

I also have hypopnea. I'm slightly overweight so I'm not atypical in your way. When I tried cpap in the hospital it had a very good effect according to the doctor. But I have tried it now for 12 nights and only 2 of those have seen me more rested the day after. Everybody seem to say that however your experience of the mask is at least the result is worth it. I feel odd and a bit cheated. If this didn't work, what will?
