Ever since I can remember I have always gone to bed quite late. Usually though I find that the only way I can fall asleep is if I eat something and drink enough to get myself sleepy. If I fall asleep at around 3:00 am I consider myself lucky, considering I wake up around 7:00 to jog. Basicly do others try this to fall asleep, should I continue to do this? I would hate to destroy my liver everyday but works works heh.

I sympathize with your problem but honestly, I cant believe you are able to get up that early and than to jog on top of it after drinking! Is it massive amounts??? Is like you pass out?? That is (as you know already) not good for you at all. Have you tried asking your doc about a sleep aid or even otc products. I am going to assume you have tried everything as I doubt this is the answer you want either. I have sooo been that desperate too. I have had drinks to make me feel sleepy and than want to go to sleep but wake very soon after and feel like crap the next day. I dont know how you do this or how you can continue. Just good luck...I dont have any great advice...but wanted you to know that I understand!

Please take good care,
Beth

Thank you for replying, I drink Vodka mixed with something. I do not drink all of it but maybe the equivalent 5-6 beers with 6%. Concerning doctors I have never gone, my experience with them is as soon as you see one, he spends one minute telling you how to fix your problem and you do what he says and well it never works. Concerning medication... well lets just say that last form of medicated drug I ever took was about 5 years ago for my stomach. Yes I know I am very picky but until I can think of a better way to fall asleep well ughh heh.
