For a few nights now I haven't been able to fall asleep. I've tried warm milk, chamomile tea, and it doesn't work. I can't take sleeping pills or drink alcohol because I have a 4 month old that is nursing. This sleeplessness really cuts into what I have to do in the day; it's like I'm a zombie. I'm essentially useless, which is a problem with the baby. Help!

In my experience it is important not to fight the sleeplessness. It only makes things worse.
Just lie down and relax. Don't try to fall asleep. Feel your body. Feel your breath. Listen to some soothing relaxing music.
Don't worry about not being able to sleep. If you can't sleep you can't sleep. Relaxation is fine.
Do you have any idea why you can't sleep? Is there any fear or stress or worry bothering you at the moment?
