For a while now I've had this problem. I'm always tired. Exhausted, like I'm dragging myself around. When I go to sleep it's like I hibernate, and nothing can wake me up not even an alarm clock. I can sleep for 12 hours easy, and it's not unusual if I fall asleep and don't wake up til 24 + hours later. I'm constantly yawning, and am always cold.
Do you have any idea of what it is that could be wrong.
Thanks, Jestine

Did you get your tyroid gland checked. I know someome that had problems with her tyroid gland and she said she was alway tired-sleepy and cold.
Your tyroid gland can be checked with a blood test.
Do you have other symptoms...

Thanks for getting back to me. I haven't got my thyroid checked, but I think I will. The only other thing that's happened is I gained some weight, almost 10 pounds in the last 7 months or so. I don't know if that's a symptom of anything though, or if I gained some weight because I haven't been doing much, and have been sleeping so much.
I've been trying to keep myself busy, and I feel like I'm always doing something, but actually when I look at things afterwards I haven't really got much done because I don't have much energy I guess (if that makes sense).

Wow--I have to echo the previous response and tell you to get that thyroid checked. The weight gain you described is very symptomatic of hypothyroidism, as well as the sluggishness and coldness. The blood test is simple and the problem can be easily treated with thyroid medication.
Good luck!

Thanks to you too. Do you have any idea how much the thyroid test, and medication usually costs?
