I smoked for over 30 years and had tried several times to quit. I finally used the book called "You CAN Stop Smoking" by Jacquelyn Rogers. She is the founder of Smokenders, but the book is a lot cheaper than going through the program! This worked for me and it has been over 5 years since I have smoked. Only once in the first month was I tempted to buy any cigarettes. I have to say the whole thing was relatively painless and I highly recommend it.

Thanks! I keep trying and getting nowhere and so discouraged and disappointed in self. I'll find the book and try again in hopes of making it this time.

I found the book in my bookstore 5 years ago but recently I looked for it for my son and they didn't have it. I couldn't find it at Amazon either, but my bookstore ordered it for me.
Good Luck!
