Hi Cat,
I had acupuncture to "help" me quit. I had to go at least 12 hours without nicotine prior to starting the acupuncture, then I had to go 3 days in a row for the treatments.
I really couldn't tell you if it did anything for me. I quit three weeks ago and I was mentally ready to quit. I was told that the acupuncture just helps to get you through the initial "physical" nicotine withdrawal, but I was still VERY irritable for those three days. I'm MUCH better now.
I wish you the best of luck.
