I smoked for 2 years; about a pack daily. I decided, after marrying my non-smoker who hated it, that I wanted to stop. I was sick of his nagging me and sick of dirty ashtrays. So one day I simply said, "I am going to finish this pack and that'll be it." Result?
Haven't had a puff in 12 years. Withdrawal: one crying experience a couple days later. Also, wanting one for months then it started dwindling away then I started forgetting about cigs after a year. They still, some of them, smell good to me but I'm not wanting to get back into it at all. By now I've seen too many health problems around me by smokers that I doubt anyone wants to hear about. I'm sure no one would care to listen to what has happened to the hangers on I know. Or knew. Aster (healthier but FATTER)!
