Thanks for your advice, Crystal...I am working with a councelor as well as considering hypnotism and yoga. I realize that you shouldn't replace a "crutch" with another "crutch", but i imagine its takes a lot to over come that obsticle and see the addition for what it is. warmly, Jayem

Hi Jayem,
I've started to do Yoga, and I highly recommend it. Not only does it feel good, but it teaches you to respect and have trust in your own body. I also had acupuncture to help me quit smoking. I have no idea whether it worked or not because I was so convinced that I was never going to smoke again anyway. It may be something to try. Apparently, it's supposed to help with the first few days of nicotine withdrawal.
