I haven't had a puff in 3 weeks now. Quit cold turkey, no major withdrawal. Lately my tongue's been kinda funky, tho. It feels kinda raw, and salsa and mouthwash burn like crazy. Could this be normal from losing my nasty protective tongue fur? If so, how long does it last?

Yep. And the good news is that the tongue is the fastest healing organ in the body. It will adjust and "toughen - up" rather quickly. It lasted about a week or so for me. Try to avoid acidic foods (tomato based and vinegar based) until it settles down. Hope it gets better quickly.
