Hi-
I quit almost three years ago and last weekend smoked some cigarettes.
You think I'd be upset by that but I wasn't. I have smoked cigars and chewed on disgusting dip in between those three years because I was still addicted to nicotine.
Smoking those cigarettes made me realize I still had a problem. So what I decided to do was say to myself: If I am able to drink less, quit dipping and quit cigars/pipes...then smoking those cigarettes will have been worth it.
So another words. If you mess up DO NOT get discouraged and try to look at the positive side of things. If you feel horrible for having smoked a cigarette when trying to quit just tell yourself you're doing well still and don't go back to them on a regular basis- continue with the struggle.

Don't worry you can break free...but break free of everything.
