Hi everyone,
I am now 3 weeks smoke free !I am finding it very difficult even with nicoteine patches. I have taken up knitting which helps yet I am still craving a cigarette like mad. Does it get easier?

Hi Mel
Firstly my congratulations on your 3 weeks of non-smoking.
I promise it WILL get easier as time goes on so you hang in there. I found the first month to be the worst. I can clearly remember that weeks 3 & 4 had me believing I had coughed up at least half a lung. Absolutely disgusting it was. That memory alone keeps me going & I've been a non-smoker for 5 years now,
I had to play mind games with myself all the time & do stuff which I didn't associate with smoking. I went swimming a lot!! :D
My very best wishes & hope that you keep it up. I promise you won't regret it both health wise & financially.
