Take one day at a time. I just hit my 2 month mark. I smoked for 29 years. I now can't stand the smell of them let alone the thought of ever putting one in my mouth again~ Don't get me wrong, I have "days" that I "think" about it...but each and every day is easier and the fight is won. I feel great, my voice is not raspy, I am not coughing, I can smell things that I didn't know were there...i.e. smoke on other people is disgusting. I drink lots and lots of water. I also use Stabilized Oxygen drops added to my water...Rather than a smoke break I have a water break and adding the drops is part of my routine. Works for me. My skin has improved significantly too. Fight the urge~ You can do it. Cross each day off on the calendar. I no longer count days, but weeks. Soon it will be months and then years. I wish so much that I would have quit years ago. Good luck to you~ Tammy

I to am on my 2nd day of smoke free. I know mornings are the worst for me. So what I do is set my alarm clock a little later so i'm always moving or running behind. Gives me less time to think about it. Good luck I Know this sucks right now but has to get better.

I'm on day 12 today and feeling better with every day :)

What helped me trememdously were "stress pills", i.e. natural/herbal pills that contain things like valerian, passiflora and hops and are used to help you relax and relieve anxiety.

They also help you sleep at night and they've helped me a treat - I've been taking them for two weeks before I stopped and am now slowly cutting down as I don't really want to pop valerian ("nature's valium" after all!) for the rest of my life ;)

Can't give you any brand names as I'm in the UK but if you ask at a chemist's for something with those ingredients they should be able to help you :)
