would like to know how your c-scan went and if the doctor found out what the abnormality is yet? i have prayed for you and hope things are well. by the way, books are my life. reading and smoking, oh man, i did not mean to say that. i mean, reading and drinking iced tea and scarfing on twizzlers. ha! try'em. they are very addictive and ya know ya gotta let something take the cigarettes place. it might as well be something tasty.

Hi, Bookmiser. I just happened to wander in to this site, and saw your post. Thank you for thinking about me! I'm doing okay....I was officially diagnosed with emphysema, and "diffuse lung nodules"; plus my pulmonary doctor said I have dead areas in my lungs; a result of my years of smoking. I have come to accept this, and do my best to stay as healthy as possible. I exercise several days a week, and just over-all, am not stressed about it; but I was at first. As for my smoking, I quit right after this past Christmas; apparently I quit too late. But I know if I had continued to smoke, my lungs would be worse than they are now. I too have a sweet tooth, unfortunately! The sad thing is that many people are so afraid to quit smoking...but developing a lung disease is much worse! Oh well....I have a strong faith in God...so I never feel alone in this. God bless and keep you smoke free, Bookmiser. Debbie
