my hands and feet start to feel tingly, numb and "cold" again... it's like clockwork. I take 100mg three times a day. Does anyone know anything about this?

Hi CoffeeGirl,
When I saw Topamax in your heading it caught my attention. I took it for about 2 months and had to get off of it. The side effects drove me crazy. One of the known side effects of this drug are tingling in your hands and feet. So it my be the drug causing this problem for you not the drug wearing off. If I can answer any questions for you about this drug, let me know. I've done a lot of reading about it.

Good Luck,
Kathleen

Would I have this problem while I am taking this drug as opposed to when I am not? This is the reason I started taking it to begin with.

I started taking Topamax for pain in my neck and tingling in my right hand. After taking it the tingles started in the fingertips of both my hands and my feet. There are some message boards out there that talk a lot about Topamax side effects. You might want to check some out.
My pain management Dr. prescribed it more for the pain than anything thing else. But it sounds to me like you might want to have a chat with your doc.

Good Luck
