Hey All,
I haven’t been on the board as regular as usual, so I’ve missed, it seems, welcoming a few people. So since I’m a hunt and peck typist and it takes me forever to type a post...I hope you’ll forgive me if I wish you all welcome in this one post...I won’t start naming everyone...you know who you are ;) ... because I’ll be sure to forget someone...and I don’t want anyone to feel left out...and besides...I’d end up being up all night typing...and sorry but... I hurt...So...WELCOME ABOARD... to the best board you’re ever gonna find...this is, without a doubt...the best group of people I’ve ever come across all in one spot...ya couldn’t ask for better...I will try my best to get back to chatting with everyone individually as much as I can as soon as I can...in the mean time...make yourself at home...ask all the questions you’d like...relax...enjoy the ambiance...take advantage of the free meds (LAUGHS)....( laughter being the best medicine!! ) ...and shake your head and smile at the posts from the resident brain dead, sleep deprived, slightly (okay maybe more than slightly) looney, worrywart...That would be....
Me (Joanne)
Have a great day all!!!
And Please Remember:
Always look on the bright side of life.....doo dee doo...dee doo...dee doo...dee doo.... wink..wink...nudge...nudge...say no more. :D
ps...thought some might be wonderin' if I'm a slow typist how I got all these posts up...easy...word program...type...pace...type...lay down...type...etc...cut..paste...submit :)

Joanne,
Here's wishing you start feeling better soon.
I miss reading your post. It seems that quite a few of the regulars are suffering lately. (my best wishes & hopes & thoughts for all, those new & those not so new.)
Take care
Cliff

It must be the spring weather and increasing humidity, I think it's affecting a lot of us. Spring is better than the winter, and summer is better yet, but I guess it's true when they say you can't have your cake and eat it too! Everything in life seems to be a series of tradeoffs. Kinda like living in northern NY, the winters are hell (and way too long), but we rarely if ever see tornadoes, the hurricanes lose their umph by the time they get this far inland (for the few that come this far north), and the summers aren't unbearably hot. I guess you make the best of what you can't control and try to brainwash yourself to some extent that things could be worse and that you should be greatful for that when you see others in a lot worse shape than you are. That all sounds noble and good, but then I guess that doesn't count for much when you're laying awake at night because you can't sleep and you feel like screaming at the top of your lungs from the constant, nagging, &*@#ing pain! ;) But I'm not bitter about it...honest! :D

Keith,
As we say here in Vermont. Quit yer Bit%hing about the weather, what would we have to talk about if it was always nice out. :D
You are so right, we do not have worry about tornadoes, Hurricanes or serious earthquakes, but sometimes the trade off (LOOOOONNNNNNG Winters.) ain't so great.
But then all it takes is one visit to Fla. or Arizona in July for this Yankee to realize that winter ain't so bad after all, and know why I like living here in Vermont.
Besides, when you step outside on a freezing cold dark morning and take in that first breath of cold crisp –20F degree air, you suddenly have no question that you are alive!!! You know you are because otherwise you would not feel so invigorated, you snap wide-awake, you feel alive. Ok, I don't get that feeling every morning, but the few mornings I do, I feel good & revile in the weather. (You know in retrospect I bet those are the days I have the extra thick long-johns on. LOL)
Cheers

Coming from tornado alley, I would rather have a long winter. We had several tornados last night, all around us, but thankfully didn't touch us at all.
Joanne,
I hope you get to feeling better. Don't you think that your Monty Python reference wasn't noted.
Wink wink....nudge nudge know what I mean? Wait, there's a penguin on the telly! Got to go before it explodes. :round:
