Hi everyone. I have a question. We are on workmen's comp. Savings is gone. Workmen's Comp isn't enough to make bills. Does anyone know of a place that loans money against future workmen's comp claims. We just need to get a loan that will see up through the next couple of months til I can get a job. Right now we are waiting for the 3rd surgery. Then there will be a need for me to be home to help Roy. I figure a couple months then he should be able to be alone for a few hours a day while I work. I know that this is a problem that everyone on workmen's comp faces, workmne's comp being what it is. So csn anyone help. Thanks Vicki

Hi again, I just thought about what I was asking. You know thing are bad but they have been worse. We have always gotten through before and this time will be no different. This is not our firt go around with Workmen's Comp. Roy has only been back to work about 4 years. He had surgery on L4-L5 with plates and pins. There were many times that WC really did a number on us then...we almost lost the house on more than time. But we hung tight.
This time WC is not giving us any problems so far and we just have to do something different. Thanks everyone for reading...
Roy is not doing so good today..head aches and muscle twiching. He doesn't see the new doctor until the 15...i just hope that his spine stays in his skin until then...it looks really scary.
Thanks for listening...Vicki

Hello, Workers' Compensation is different in each state. However, I have never seen anyone receive a loan on future benefits. I have been in the business for 9 years. I deal with all states. I wish I could help you more. I would recommend getting a loan at the bank or lending company. With Workers' Compensation being so unpredictable, I don't believe anyone would loan money on this. If you have a settlement, signed by the judge, that is a different story. If you need help with your rights as a claimant or any question's regarding your claim feel free to email me anytime. Wishing you the best.
