I broke c5-c6 almost 16 years ago. They told my family I would never walk again I am mobile now, but I am losing mobility, strength, range of motion, etc. now. I also am experiencing a lot of pain that I didn't have before.
Are there any spinal cord injury patients out there that started having severe problems after such a long run of doing fairly well?
What can I expect with this?

Hi Funchick,
Welcome to the board! Unfortunately, I cannot answer your question, but perhaps someone with more experience of that type will answer soon. Feel free to search for specific topics here or even to ask up on the Back Problems board (most of the lumbar people are there, but they may be able to answer this, too).
