Hi All,

Will be seeing my ortho this AM only for a followup on my rotator cuff, but he supposedly got a report from radiologist on my MRI I had done Monday, if not, I have the films, so hoping to hear some good news today.

When I went to hospital to pick up my MRI, they gave me my last two MRI's (the ones I had done prior to my last 2 surgeries) Now I do not have a trained eye on this, but I can clearly see in the previous 2 films that there were ruptures. The new MRI, I see NONE!! It looks like the nucleus is a little different, but it sure looks like a shadow to me.

So after all my ailments, starting with me turning 40 in Nov. 2001, I have had 2 neck surgeries, diagnosed with...

asthma
high blood pressure
tachycardia
sleep apnea
frozen shoulder
rotator cuff
horrid headaches
neck pain

And to top all that off, this past Mothers Day, I was bitten by a black widow spider, and was sick!
I think GOOD NEWS is bound to come my way, and today would be a perfect start :)

I will post after my MD appointment. Thanks to all for listening.

Sorry to hear of all your challanges and all
after 40. Well doesn't the saying go life
begins at 40?For most of us here that means
fighting a little harded to survive and to
always have the hope that tomorrow is going to be a better day.

Will be waiting to hear how you ade out at appt.
My DH also had sleep apena. That was such a worry
for me as I would sleep lightly (LIKE WHEN MY CHIDREN WERE SMALL)so that I would know when he stopped
breathing. He did have surgery over 1 year ago and what a differance. No more stopping breathing, has more
energy,is not tired all the time, so for us the
disicion was worth it. Do you use machine at night?

Will be waiting to hear some good news http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/t_up.gif

Okay, I'm 38 and my junk started way before that! I'm so tired of focusing on my health, but I don't want to ignore it either!
I think I'll start focusing on where I am going to go for my vacation next year!! That'll be my new obsession-that and finishing all of the decorating I started.
Does anyone sew? Will I be able to sew on the machine anytime soon after surgery? I just bought some black toile to make valances for my master bath. I guess I had better do them within the next few weeks!
