Hi Lady
I live by the shore also one town away from you.
I answered on the other post who the DR was that did my first surgery. Here I'll try to recopy it.
The DR that did my surgery in NJ was a spine DR. DR Lospinuso. He kept telling me I was fused and things were fine. This was a worker's comp injury so you know how that goes. I knew something was wrong and went to different DR on my own and sure enough I didn't fuse, plus had broken hardware.
Anyway the DR that I used for this last surgery on April 10 is excellent he's out of Beth Israel Hospital upper east side in NY. His name is DR. Langer and he is great I highly recommend him. Before a friend told me to see him I saw a lot of DR's and a lot of them weren't sure on what to do or they wanted to leave the broken screws in because it was to much trouble to get them out. I'm so glad that I found DR. Langer he's very straight forward with any questions and explains everything including the good and the bad. When he first saw me he told me the best thing was to get the broken screws out and get refused and plated, he also did say that he would have to go in threw the back of the neck which is more painful because of your neck muscles having to be cut. I really am very happy and glad that I found DR Langer. He took extra precautions for my surgery since they would be going in the front from the previous incision and he didn't want anything to happen to the voice which the chance was higher since it was the second time going in that way, so he had ENT Dr's there also for my surgery.
If any one needs an excellent DR. DR. Langer is the one to go to he's great. He a neurosurgeon, but I also had a spine DR for this surgery to and he also was great.
I'm also small to. It was just a accident at work where I got hit with something in the upper back.
Let me know how you make out. Hope your doing good.

Hey offshore,I was not an accident or worker case, it just I dont know how, happened. My Xrays just came back and the report says everyting is in place and the fusion is solid and excellent, no fracrues or soft tissue swelling. The MRI on Sunday will show if I herinated another disc(I will kill myself!!) Then I take it from there, My Surgeon Up at Robert Wood is apparently one of the best but if I blew another disc I might consider seeing another Surgeon, thanks for the info!!!!!!

Hi Lady,
Glad to hear your hardware and that is all okay. I hope it's not another disc like you thought. Let me know how your doing. Wishing you the best.
