Resently on the 9th of this month I had a min. invassive surgery done on my c5-6 . prior to surgery I started having weakness to the bicept on my right arm that was it, which was why I underwent surgery. Up till the day of surgery I lifted weights and did just about anything which did'nt consist of using my bicept. Well after surgery till the present day I can't do a pushup or lift anything overhead using my right arm. I've notified the NS and he gave me a cat scan and EMG and said that all is well. Well if im in the up position and my arm shakes uncontrolably, to me all is not well . What do any of you out there recommend to me as the problem or better yet the solution.. PLEASE reply.... Thanks and God Bless You!

I too am having more post op pain than I did before my surgery( cervical discectomy w/fusion on June 30, still in a collar) My surgeon keeps telling me this all normal. I'm worried as well, but glad I found this board, it has been a blessing~

Chazzy,
I too have the bicep pain in my left arm. I can't lift the weights I used to. BUT, I have NOT had surgery yet. I'm having an EMG on Aug 11th.
