View Full Version : Does this mean it's worse?

I had a fusion at C6-7 in 98 and now C4-5 and C5-6 are herniated. I have sent my films to Dr. Jho and am waiting to hear from him (hopefully very soon) - the drs. I've seen here have both recommended fusion at the 2 levels - I'm trying to avoid that! My pain really hasn't been that bad and I haven't had any tingling or shock wave feelings until just lately - once in a while I've had a feeling of a shock running down my arm. Last night and this morning I have had the tingling in my right index finger and it happened at weird times - like when I was just putting my hand in my front jeans pocket to get a key in my pocket. I'm going to be moving across county in the next couple months and really need to decide something soon because I need this taken care of before I leave. I may not be able to wait for Dr. Jho's opinion. Does anyone know if this is a sign of things getting worse? I do have some compression on my spinal column.

Thanks for any advice!
