hi everyone
my mom just had surgery to fuse her odontoid (bone b/w c1 and c2) the doc intially said he needed to put a screw in her neck to stabilze. after surgery he told us he put 2 screws in because "he had the extra room" is this common or did he make a mistake the first time and put another one in to correct?
