I have had spinal fusion on April 2 on L4, L5, S1 and it was fine, however now I am having problems with my neck. The MRI says
1. Broad based bulging of the posterior margin at C4-C5 with focal right parasagittal herniation results in right parasagittal ventral impingement on the cord
2. At C5-C6 and C6-C7 bulging discs results in mild bilateral soft tissue impingements on the foramina
3. Mild disc bulging at C-3 -C-4 and C7-T1
4. Small anterior protrusions at C4-C5 through C6-C7
I don't have a clue what this means. I have started ESI's and they are not helping. Does this mean another surgery?

Dear Blue,
Well, that sounds very similar to an MRI in 2000, and I just had ACDF 12 days ago. You may be looking at surgery soon?

Anterior Cervical Diskectomy
Fusion of C5-6, C6-7 with plate and donor bone
