Sorry to hear you are having some problems. It does not sound like anxiety, although I could be wrong. Depends on if you have any other symptoms or weird feelings or anything. Sounds more maybe like depression...? Maybe you should speak with your doctor and see what they say about it. It could just be the time of the year or maybe just a spell. How long has it been going on? Keep us informed!!
Good Luck and God Bless!!

if it's clinical depression it can make you very tired and hard to function. with depression that severe people have problems just getting showered and dressed not to mention functioning properly. if it is dietary certain foods can make you feel either tired or energized. it is hard to say what is making you so tired. has a doctor examined you?

Stacey,
I have seen a few of your posts and you seem to be very desperate and stressed. IBS and ulcers are often secondary to stress and anxiety. You may find more help on the board for digestive disorders for your IBS. It seems to me that your body is trying to tell you something and you need to discuss things with your doctor. There is medication that can help IBS but it isn't really curable but more can be made easier with diet and medication. BUT if the stresses in your life are not dealt with then things are not going to improve. Please seek help and take care

I understand your situation because I have been there before.

Please listen. The best thing you can do at this point to start improving your situation is some exercise and dietary changes. That's it.

Start slow. Walk around the block each night and let that be the time to relax and reflect on the good things in your life. Exercise will be beneficial to both your stress and anxiety and also give you more energy and a sense of well-being.

As far as eating, look for some of the problems. Caffeine, alcohol, tobacco, sugar, fast food are all detrimental to your health and worsen anxiety. Limit these as much as you reasonably can.

Remember to take it slow. You won't change overnight but if you stick with it regularly you'll start seeing some very positive changes in your life. Best of luck.

Hello,
I know how you feel. I never have alot of energy. Before the anxiety I could go on for days and never be tired. No I am tired everyday. I often wonder if my med is part of it (paxil cr). But I think the biggest part is that I am afraid to exercise. Afraid I will have a heart attack. I am working on this fear and I wish you the best of luck. let me know how you are doing. diana

I'm always exhausted - I think the effort of coping with anxiety all day every day is enough to exhaust anyone!

Like the others said, exercise and a healthy diet help. I'm sure that a bit of relaxation time to myself every day would help me too but chance would be a fine thing.
