Do you have alot of caffeine? Soda's, chocolate, things of that sort? Caffeine can cause heart palpitations. Mine used to do it all the time. I cut out the caffeine and it has not done it in a while.
Good Luck and God Bless!!

Some medications can cause it. Some conditions such as mitrovalve prolapse, which is actually a pretty common ailment. I have it(I had the test to confirm some years ago)... and regular vigorous exercise practically eliminated it. I don't have any problems with it now and didn't need any meds for it. And yes caffiene could be a culprit. Investigate any meds first for side/adverse effects. Cut out caffiene if that is relevant. Maybe a doc visit to rule out other disorders.

What you are having is called a PVC-premature ventricular contraction.
I started getting them when my anxiety and panic showed up. They scared me to death.
I had all the heart tests and they said my heart was fine.
A lot of things can trigger them... eating too much at a meal, laying down too soon after a meal, alcohol, caffeine, over the counter drugs, etc.
They are considered normal, though I consider them a nuisance.
Mine has almost completely disappeared since they started almost 4 years ago.

I started getting the same thing my freshman year in college, sometimes it would happen several times a day, other times I would go for weeks without one. Stress and fatigue were causing them. As soon as I found out they were harmless and I wasn't going to just drop dead, I calmed down and now have them rarely.
