View Full Version : Just how can stress effect you?

I've felt that there is something wrong with me for years, and I have been thinking that maybe I have a thyroid problem since my symptoms seem to match.
But the doc tells me I am 'just' stressed. He is right, I am stressed, but just how can stress effect you physically?
Can it cause you to have poor hearing? Can it give you a low body temperature? Can it give you skin problems?
I felt bad long before I had any reason to be stressed. I feel like stress is a symptom rather than the cause of my problems.

I'd be interested in seeing a broard list of symptoms stress can cause a person. When I've searched in the past (I do research for myself) many of my symptoms aren't listed anywhere under stress.
