I have been taking Lexapro now for 7 months for anxiety related to foggy head/tinnitus. I have been taking 10 mgs up untill about a week ago when my dr. suggested I up to 20 mgs.

I had a low sex drive before...but now it's worse and I couldn't climax even if I wanted to. I hate to go off the Lexapro because I feel like it does help with the anxiety (does nothing for the other symptoms so far unfortunately). Has anyone found a way around the sexual side effects of anti depressants?

I was on Zoloft for a year and contrary to what I was told by my doctor, the sexual side effects never waned. I eventually gave up the AD's due to the side effects and have been managing quite well on my own, but I know that's not a practical option for everyone. I'm glad to know this about Lexapro, though, because I had considered trying it awhile back because they market it as the "no side effect" alternative.
