Hi all! I get a pins and needles feeling in my hands, arms, feet and legs and a weird tingly feeling in my throat sometimes lasting for 2-3 days! Can this be a symptom of stress, panic and anxiety? Please help! Thanks!

I would go to a doc. Vio~~ HeyThere 05-01-2003, 11:30 AM I have heard your hands and feet tingling can be from lack of vitamin B ( i forgot which one). Also, people on one of the major popular drugs either paxil or zoloft get this- they walk around with their hands clenching and opening because of the sensation. Also are you on any stimulants/amphetamines or diet pills because lack of oxygen causes these sensations too. Do you feel cold? Oh and I don't mean to scare you but Botulism causes this also it attacks the CNS quickly your toes and fingers go numb first then it starts affecting internal organs rendering them as organ dead.-but botulism is rare you can get it from eating contaminated foods and raw honey etc. canned foods that are bloated. Anyway, I hope you get better. Go check out the Thyroid forum under our stories - they mention several of them that is one of the symptoms- it could be hyper or hypo read about it. They also write the hypers- have stress/panic attacks and the hypos have depression-pretty interesting correlation. Once I gave in to the fact that my physical symptoms were stress/anxiety related, and I worked on my mental health, they all but disappeared! Kim nickey69 05-01-2003, 10:24 PM Pins and Needles can also be from hyperventilation.... reddevil 05-06-2006, 12:43 PM Hello, I'm suffering the same as you but it's been 4 days.
