acid reflux is common with anxiety, meds help, avoid bedtime snacks and night time refrigerator raids, sometimes the stomach contents burn the throat
relaxation and stress reduction helps

I have acid reflux. If that weird feeling is heartburn I totally relate to what you are experiencing. I had it once before the anxiety thing but when the episodes started I got it back. I don't eat anything after 8 and that helps a lot. I also quit coffee and cola drinks. I drink alcohol less than once a month.
By the way, when I quit coffee, my anxiety got much better.

Nexium reduces the production of acid in the stomach, so if you don't feel relief it must be something else. Nexium is expensive, though. There are cheaper options.
