I suddenly thought about an interesting thing about dreams. When I'm stressed out I usually have lots of weird anxious dreams, either failing in exams, worried losing some relatives, someone's death(who actually alive) or falling down from hills...etc. In the dreams I expressed my anger and sadness. I yelled and cried hard. Sometimes even woke up by my crying in the dreams. I just wonder if they help me relieve stress because in the real life I intend to keep the stress in my own heart. Even if when I want to cry I just insist not. Does anyone have similar experience? Should I just try to express the stress out in the real life? for example, if I want to cry, just find a place to cry; if I want to yell just yell at my computer? http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

it seems that dreams are sign of good health, people seem to think what you actually dream isnt important

Yeah. I just wonder if it actually helped to to reduce stress. Because I couldn't express my feelings in the real life. If feelings are expressed out in the dreams it's a good sign...However, I don't know if scientist think that way too. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

I've actually gone to sleep worried about a certain stressful situation and have found my answer to handling it in that night's dream. Much of our anxiety comes out in our dreams but in hidden ways. Cool post Lavender.
