I've been dealing with my first bout with anxiety, the doctors have tried several meds, but even on "good" days, I have this reoccurring thing were I get these muscle spasms or stiffness in the backs of the upper arm...Kind of in the triceps...

I don't know if this is part of the whole anxiety picture like the stomach aches are/were...

its probably caused by the anxiety but meds could be responsible, learn relaxation
what meds are you on now?

It started before I was on any meds.. Most of the physical pains and things started before I knew it was anxiety.. At least the doctor thinks they are all from anxiety.

I just hope that there is nothing really wrong with me, because I never had any of these symptoms/pain in my past..

As for meds, It was on Buspar 45mg a day, and Klonapin when having attacks/pain discomfort..

That did not work very good, so he tried to switch me to effexor, which I had bad side effects right away.

He had tried Paxil, but I had really bad side effects from that..

As of right now, I am on Buspar 45mg a day, and I am trying to get off the Benzo Klonapin..

I told my doctor I noticed my anxiety is worse now and the Klonapin is not really working, infact, I think it is making it worse, so we are going to try and wean me off, I am taking 1 Klonapin every other day, and going through HELL in between, when I do take the Klonapin, I feel better for maybe an hour or so before the surges of anxiety start to come back..

Right now as I write this, I am having bad muscle cramps in my stomach, lower back, and testicals..
