Has anyone gone done from 50 mg to 25 mg of trazodone. im thinking of doing it. It makes me too sleepy. ive been taking it for almost a month, one 50 mg tablet at night. if you went down, how did you do it and was there any difference?

its doubtful that you need the trazodone at all if you can sleep OK without it.

as mentioned both are antidepressants and theres doubt that taking 2 antidepressants together is a good thing, ask a pharmacist

It is a good idea. However, the cut is too steep. If after a few days you don't feel well try doing it every other day and eventually increasing the number of days per week that you take only half a pill. That's how I tapered off most of the medications I have taken.
